One of my favorite aspects of photographing weddings are the details. I second shot this Monte Cristo Ballroom wedding for fellow photographer, Fred Calma, and I loved all of Melisa’s bridal “bling”. Her killer shoes and sparkly accessories, paired with her red roses (my favorite color), made these getting ready images some my favorite to date. I love a good pop of color at a wedding!

Friends and family gathered at Palisade Restaurant last weekend in Seattle to celebrate Sophia’s first birthday. And what a day it was! Warm sun filtered through the windows as guests enjoyed fine macarons, decadent chocolate covered strawberries, and, of course, spending quality time with the sweet birthday girl. Happy birthday, Sophia. It was fun to spend the day with you and capture this special milestone for your family. May all your birthday wishes come true, little one!
