Friends and family gathered at Palisade Restaurant last weekend in Seattle to celebrate Sophia’s first birthday. And what a day it was! Warm sun filtered through the windows as guests enjoyed fine macarons, decadent chocolate covered strawberries, and, of course, spending quality time with the sweet birthday girl. I love birthdays and was thrilled when Antara’s parents contacted me to photograph her first birthday party last week in Redmond. The party was Minnie Mouse themed-with lots of pink details- and the cake, created by Mike’s Amazing Cakes, lived up to it’s name; it was amazing (and delicious). You can tell her parents put a lot of time an energy into creating a beautiful party for their sweet baby girl.
