Sodo Park Wedding

Posted in Wedding

I’m photographing a wedding this weekend at Sodo Park in Seattle and it reminded me of Mari’s beautiful wedding there. Isn’t her veil amazing? It was created from her grandmother’s wedding dress. I love that her “something old” was such a neat part of her family history.

Sammi & Jared’s Wedding

Posted in Wedding

I had such a fun day second shooting Sammi and Jared’s laid back outdoorsy wedding with Fred Calma Photography last weekend in Tenino. The couple was married on their family’s beautiful woodsy property, which made such a gorgeous backdrop for all of the photos. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Congratulations, Sammi and Jared. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and love!

Monte Cristo Ballroom Wedding

Posted in Wedding

One of my favorite aspects of photographing weddings are the details. I second shot this Monte Cristo Ballroom wedding for fellow photographer, Fred Calma, and I loved all of Melisa’s bridal “bling”. Her killer shoes and sparkly accessories, paired with her red roses (my favorite color), made these getting ready images some my favorite to date. I love a good pop of color at a wedding!

Sparkle & Shine {Katie & Canaan’s Wedding Sneak Peek}

Posted in Wedding

I just could not resist sharing this sparkly image from Katie and Canaan’s wedding. Katie had her heart set on a nighttime photo with glitter and dramatic lighting, and I had my heart set on making her wish come true! (Thank you, glitter fairies, for your mad glitter sprinkling skills. I could not have made this photo happen without you). Image copyright Bella Nova Photography 2013

Lauren & Will’s Wedding (Part 1 of 2)

Posted in Wedding

I had the best time photographing Lauren and Will’s down-home country wedding last summer in Elma. They transformed their rural creek-side property into the perfect rustic event space, complete with a stage and dance floor for their live band (Chris Guenther and the Honky Tonk Drifters). This wedding was all about fun… and Lauren and Will are a ton of fun!  Did I mention there were classic cars, line dancing, AND  that the bride made her grand entrance on a four-wheeler? I have so many pictures to share that I made this a two part blog post. Enjoy part one below. Part two is coming soon!

This little cowboy wanted nothing to do with the photos. He took his hat and headed for the hills...

Stay tuned. More images to come….
