Oh, I just loved snuggling with sweet baby O. and capturing these images for her family. Check out all that hair. Baby will never be lacking in the luscious locks department! 😉
When couples contact me about maternity sessions, a lot of them are nervous. I always hear from them, “We’re not very photogenic”, or, “Neither of us are comfortable in front of the camera, but we really want photos of this special time in our lives”. Then a funny thing happens. I meet them in person for their photos and we chat and joke and have fun and they begin to relax -and by the end- everyone is telling me how much they enjoyed their session.
I love being able to put couples at ease and capture beautiful images for them. And that’s exactly what happened with Lily and Mark. We captured so many great images from their session at Golden Gardens Park (and I think they even had a little fun during the process.) I’m so excited for them to welcome their baby girl in May!

Oh, how I loved photographing sweet baby Annie. She was so calm and good-natured. Just an absolute dream!
Annie's baby shower theme was "Under The Sea" so we wanted to incorporate that idea into her session.
Annie's mom is an amazing makeup artist for NARS, so we just had to sneak in a shot or two with one of mom's makeup brushes!
And, of course, we couldn't leave out Emma (the first "baby" of the family). She was so sweet and gentle with Annie. They are sure to be fast friends when Annie grows up.
I was delighted to photograph 6-month-old Theodora’s baptism at St. Spiridon Orthodox Cathedral this past weekend in Seattle. The baptismal day is one of the most important days in the life of an Orthodox Christian. What an honor to document this very special occasion for their family.
When I first arrived at Alex’s house, I almost didn’t notice him. At only 7-days old, he looked like a living doll. I had to do a double-take!
Dad is in the Coast Guard, so mom got Alex the cutest little knit hat!
Alex was such a relaxed little guy and slept well for his session so we could capture these sweet poses.
Alex had lots of sweet smiles for us during his session. Such a cute little guy!
