I loved the sunshine yellow and pink lemonade theme of Summer’s first birthday party. What a gorgeous color palette! And what a perfect day to celebrate sweet Summer, who is near-and-dear to my heart. Happy birthday, Little Miss Sunshine. It’s been a joy watching you grow!

One of my favorite aspects of photographing weddings are the details. I second shot this Monte Cristo Ballroom wedding for fellow photographer, Fred Calma, and I loved all of Melisa’s bridal “bling”. Her killer shoes and sparkly accessories, paired with her red roses (my favorite color), made these getting ready images some my favorite to date. I love a good pop of color at a wedding!

Friends and family gathered at Palisade Restaurant last weekend in Seattle to celebrate Sophia’s first birthday. And what a day it was! Warm sun filtered through the windows as guests enjoyed fine macarons, decadent chocolate covered strawberries, and, of course, spending quality time with the sweet birthday girl. Happy birthday, Sophia. It was fun to spend the day with you and capture this special milestone for your family. May all your birthday wishes come true, little one! Had a great maternity session with Sandy and Don at Edmonds Marina Beach Park. In only a few short weeks their first child will be born. I’m so excited for them as they embark upon this journey into parenthood. Can’t wait to meet baby “A” in March!
